With ⅔ of trauma cases coming form outside metro, it makes sense to engage with the rural docs – critical illness doesn’t respect geography, and many many lessons from prehospital care applicable to rural practitioners. PROTECT Australia is the ducks nuts from what I saw in 2014 – let’s hope it gets funding Oz wide
