Minimum requirements met…

STORM scan requirements

Positive scans:
EFAST
Free abdominal, pleural or pericardial fluid OR pneumothorax.

ECHO
Scans performed in the setting of cardiac arrest or haemodynamic compromise (of the total 50 echo studies reviewed two cases of each of the following must be identified; tamponade, massive PE, LV systolic failure, hypovolaemia/distributive shock).

  • Image review with senior clinician

Inform your ultrasound supervisor when cases uploaded (case or MRU number)

Review images + obtain feedback on scans.

  • Exit examination

Observed complete EFAST or ECHO study with ultrasound-supervisor.

  • Obtain certification !!
