Elective placements are available to medical students. Both local and international students with an interest in Prehospital and Retrieval Medicine may apply.
Placements are limited to 2 weeks and we have capacity to take only one student at a time.
These placements may include road and fixed wing observer shifts with the medical team, as well as flight nurse only transfers. Please note however that helicopter missions are not available to medical students at any time.
We receive many enquiries and require a minimum of six months notice.
Application can be made by completing the Medical Student Elective Program form.
