We offer mostly 12-month appointments for physicians who have either completed specialist training or who are in the advanced stages of training in critical care specialities.

Application can be made via the NSW Health JMO recruitment website where applications open in June for the follow year’s positions.

Paramedic recruitment is a separate process through NSW Ambulance, for internal applications only at this stage.

Important information for overseas applicants

We welcome applications from international medical graduates with a suitable level of experience in critical care. The paperwork burden to work in Australia is enormous and takes many months to complete: Sydney HEMS provides guidance through the process for successful applicants.
